The Cupcake Throwdown has hosted bakers going head to head, vying for cupcake supremacy since 2009.  All the while raising much needed funds for H.A.V.E. Culinary Training Society. For those attending the event it is a chance to help out an organization providing much needed support in the DTES, one cupcake at a time.

The mission of the Cupcake Throwdown is to bring community together through culinary adventures and to provide exposure to a program that has changed many lives and been a positive force in the lives of the people of the Vancouver Downtown Eastside.
